Outlets at Castle Rock in CO is looking to hire a Security Officer Lead. The Lead Security Officer earns a competitive hourly range of $22-24/hr based on previous experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists the Security Leadership Team in directing, overseeing and participating in the development of the center's security work plan; assigns work activities, projects and programs; monitors workflow; reviews and evaluates work performed, methods and procedures. Assists the Security Leadership Team in the preparation of performance plans and appraisals.
  • Confers with the Security Leadership Team, General Manager, staff and merchants on security issues within the center; assists the Security Leadership Team in planning and implementing security and center goals and objectives; recommends and administers policies and procedures.
  • Assists the Security Leadership Team in hiring, training, motivating and evaluating personnel; provides or coordinates staff training; works with employees to correct deficiencies; assists the Security Leadership Team in implementing discipline and termination procedures.
  • Performs administrative duties including scheduling of all security employees and provides weekly work schedules to the Security Leadership Team for approval.
  • Monitors all security staff's timesheets and overtime to maintain budget control and consistency.
  • Maintains a comprehensive training program for all security officers.
  • Maintains and provides accountability for the security uniform and equipment inventory.
  • Works directly with the Security Leadership Team on all corporate and security policies and procedures that pertain to the center.
  • Monitors and tracks all calls for service at the center and maintains and administers statistical reports to the Security Leadership Team.
  • Insures that the Security Leadership Team and General Manager are notified on all Incidents that occur at the center through the use of a Daily Security Activity Report.
  • Assists the Security Leadership Team in the planning and directing of tenant security training programs.
  • Assists the Security Leadership Team in establishing a working relationship with local police and developing a Community Policing Plan for the center.
  • Assists the Security Leadership Team in the implementation of an Emergency Preparedness program for the center.
  • Responds to incidents and provides supervision and oversight when appropriate.
  • Reviews, scans and files all Officer Daily Activity Reports and security departmental reports.
  • Fills-in and works various shifts in place of security officers who are on vacation or out sick.
  • Acts as the Security Supervisor in the event of his/her absence.
  • Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.)
  • Must have included one year of security lead experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
  • Must have a valid Guard Card.
